Jeanette Cook has co-owned and directed a number of dealer galleries specialising in applied art, including Media, in Wellington, one of the first craft galleries in the country, and Touchstone Gallery in Nelson. She has been a writer, journalist and book editor for many years. She is currently based in Nelson. Stephen Robinson is a well-known food and landscape photographer, and also specialises in black and white portrait photography. He is based in Auckland. Previous books include SECRETS AND KNIVES and SIMON GAULT COOKS, and he is currently finishing work on a book on the New Zealand bach.
